Captain Kirk's Guide to Women
Sekundärliteratur
John Rodriguez

Casanova, Don Juan, James Bond -- these are men of legendary romance, but only one man can boast that his seductive powers
take him boldly where no man has gone before: James T. Kirk.

Captain Kirk's status as an interstellar stud is proven by his ability to seduce any woman, in any situation, in any part of
the galaxy. From high-society princesses to unbalanced Orion slave girls, from gender-switching shape-shifters to
emotion-deprived androids -- they all swoon, acquiesce, and malfunction from just one kiss.

But a single question remains in the minds of millions: How does he do it?

Captain Kirk's Guide to Women is the first book to answer this question by probing deeply into Kirk's character, charisma,
and seductive techniques, making it possible for any man to model himself after the Casanova of the Cosmos. It is also the
only warp-powered romance manual written with enough wit, charm, and humor to help the female of the species make first
contact.

Employing meticulous research, along with fanatic-level detail and the kind of pointy-eared logic even a Vulcan would find
fascinating, Captain Kirk's Guide to Women shows you how to be as effective as Captain Kirk.

Vulcan's Soul, Band 3: Epiphany
Star Trek
Josepha Sherman and Susan Shwartz
Paperback-Reprint

Following their bestsellers Vulcan's Forge and Vulcan's Heart, Josepha Sherman and Susan Shwartz conclude their new trilogy
chronicling the latter-day adventures of one of Star Trek's most beloved characters, shedding new light on his world's
shocking history.

The distant past: The great ships have left war-torn Vulcan behind and, after a most arduous journey, have arrived at their
destination. Two worlds become the new home of the exiles: Romulus is a verdant paradise, one much different from their
desert home, while Remus is a barren wasteland, albeit one that is laden with natural resources. When Karatek and his family
find themselves trapped on Remus with no hope of joining their brothers and sisters on Romulus, it sparks a conflict that
leads the exiles into vicious civil war.

One year after the Dominion War: The Watraii are determined to destroy the Romulan Star Empire. Ambassador Spock is equally
determined to learn their secret. With the aid of his wife Captain Saavik and the U.S.S. Alliance, his old comrades Scotty,
Uhura, and Chekov, and Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the U.S.S. Enterprise, Spock executes a daring plan to bring about peace
before the Alpha Quadrant is once again plunged into war....

The stunning conclusion to the trilogy that changes everything you thought you knew about the Vulcans and the Romulans!

Terok Nor: Day of the Vipers
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
James Swallow

Before the Dominion War and the decimation of Cardassia...before the coming of the Emissary and the discovery of the
wormhole...before space station Terok Nor became Deep Space 9â„¢...there was the Occupation: the military takeover of an alien
planet and the violent insurgency that fought against it. Now that fifty-year tale of warring ideologies, terrorism, greed,
secret intelligence, moral compromises, and embattled faiths is at last given its due in the three-book saga of Star Trek's
Lost Era...

A seemingly benign visitation to the bountiful world of Bajor from the resource-poor Cardassian Union is viewed with cautious
optimism by some, trepidation by others, and a calculating gleam by unscrupulous opportunists. What begins as a gesture of
compassion soon becomes something very different. Seen through the eyes of participants on both sides -- including those of a
young officer named Skrain Dukat -- the personal, political, and religious tensions between the Bajorans and the Cardassians
quickly spiral out of control, irrevocably shaping the futures of both worlds in an emotionally charged and unforgettable
tale of treachery, tragedy, and hope.

Myriad Universes: Infinity's Prism
Anthologie mit 3 Romanen
Places of Exile von Christopher L. Bennett
A Less Perfect Union von William Leisner
Seeds of Dissent von James Swallow
Trade-Paperback

It's been said that for any event, there is an infinite number of possible outcomes. Our choices determine which outcome will follow, and therefore all possibilities that could happen do happen across countless alternate realities. In these divergent realms, known history is bent, like white light through a prism-broken into a boundless spectrum of what-might-have-beens. But in those myriad universes, what might have been . . . is what actually happened.

A LESS PERFECT UNION by William Leisner: More than a hundred years after the Terra Prime movement achieved its dream of an isolationist Earth, humanity is once again at a fork in the river of history . . . and the path it follows may ultimately be determined by the voice of a single individual: the sole surviving crewmember of the first Starship Enterprise.

PLACES OF EXILE by Christopher L. Bennett: Midway through Voyager's journey across the galaxy, Captain Kathryn Janeway and Commander Chakotay must choose whether to brave a deadly war zone or abandon their quest for home. But an attack by Species 8472 cripples the ship, and the stranded crew must make new choices that will reshape their destinies . . . and that of the Delta Quadrant itself.

SEEDS OF DISSENT by James Swallow: Khan victorious! Almost four centuries after conquering their world, genetically enhanced humans dominate a ruthless interstellar empire. But the warship Defiance, under its augmented commander, Princeps Julian Bashir, makes a discovery that could shake the pillars of his proud civilization: an ancient sleeper ship from Earth named the Botany Bay.

Fearful Symmetry
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (Relaunch)
Olivia Woods

In our universe, a Cardassian sleeper agent--Iliana Ghemor--was once surgically altered to resemble and replace resistance fighter Kira Nerys, future Starfleet captain and hero of the planet Bajor's liberation. That plan never reached fruition, and the fate of the agent remained unknown...until now. Robbed of the past sixteen years, Iliana Ghemor is back with a vengeance. Over a decade and a half of imprisonment and abuse by her former masters has brought her to the brink of madness, sustained only by the twisted belief that she is, in fact, the real Kira Nerys. She has already made one near-successful attempt on the real Kira's life, but instead of assuming the identity of the woman she was intended to replace, Ghemor has set her sights on the most unexpected target of all: Kira's other double, the malicious Intendent, Bajor's iron-fisted ruler in the alternate reality commonly known as the "Mirror Universe." But far more is unfolding in the Mirror Universe than Ghemor realizes, and the heroes of Deep Space Nine somehow must stop the false Kira without derailing the delicate flow of history that must unfold if both universes, and countless others, are to survive. Parallel stories set in both universes reflect and build upon each other in this Two-in-One "Flip Book," the continuation of both the ongoing DS9 saga as well as the Mirror Universe line of books.

THE CHIMES AT MIDNIGHT by Geoff Trowbridge: In a continuum where Spock died during childhood, an Andorian named Thelin became Captain Kirk's stalwart friend and first officer. But at the moment of Khan's final defeat, history takes an even stranger turn, and the emerging potential of Project Genesis is revealed as the galaxy's greatest hope . . . and its most ominous threat.

A GUTTED WORLD by Keith R. A. DeCandido: Terrorist Kira Nerys - from a Bajor that was never liberated - may hold the key to winning a war that has engulfed half the galaxy. But with the Romulans and the Klingons at each other's throats, and the Federation pulled into the conflict, even victory may not bring salvation.

BRAVE NEW WORLD by Chris Roberson: Dr. Noonien Soong's dream has been realized: androids are now woven inextricably into the fabric of the Federation, revolutionizing Starfleet and transforming the quality of humanoid life. But when Soong's long-missing breakthrough creation, Data, mysteriously resurfaces, civilization reaches a crossroads that could lead to a bright new future, or to ruin.

Greater Than the Sum
Star Trek: The Next Generation (Second Decade)
Christopher L. Bennett

The Starship Rhea has discovered a cluster of carbon planets that seems to be the source of the quantum energies rippling through a section of space. A landing party finds unusual life-forms inhabiting one of the planets. One officer, Lieutenant T'Ryssa Chen -- a half-Vulcan -- makes a tenuous connection with them. But before any progress can be made, the Rhea comes under attack from the Einstein -- a Starfleet vessel now controlled by the Borg. The landing party can only listen in horror as their comrades are assimilated. The Borg descend to the planet, and just as Chen accepts that she will be assimilated, the lieutenant is whisked two thousand light-years away.

A quantum slipstream -- instantaneous transportation -- is controlled by these beings in the cluster, and in the heart of the cluster there is now a Borg ship. Cut off from the rest of the Borg collective, the Einstein cannot be allowed to rejoin it. For the sake of humanity, the Borg cannot gain access to quantum slipstream technology.

Starfleet Command gives Captain Picard carte blanche: do whatever he must to help the beings in the cluster, and stop the Einstein no matter the cost.

Kobayashi Maru
Star Trek: Enterprise (Relaunch)
Michael A. Martin & Andy Mangels

To protect the cargo ships essential to the continuing existence of the fledgling Coalition of Planets, the captains of the United Earth's Starfleet are ordered to interstellar picket duty, with little more to do than ask "Who goes there?" into the darkness of space.
Captain Jonathan Archer of the Enterpriseâ„¢ seethes with frustration, wondering if anyone else can see what he sees. A secret, closed, militaristic society, convinced that their survival hangs by a thread, who view their neighbors as a threat to their very existence -- the Spartans of ancient Greece, the Russians of the old Soviet Union, the Koreans under Kim Il-sung -- with only one goal: attain ultimate power, no matter the cost. The little-known, never-seen Romulans seem to live by these same principles.
The captain realizes that the bond between the signers of the Coalition charter is fragile and likely to snap if pushed. But he knows that the Romulans are hostile, and he believes they are the force behind the cargo ship attacks. If asked, Archer can offer no proof without endangering his friend's life.
To whom does he owe his loyalty: his friend, his world, the Coalition? And by choosing one, does he not risk losing all of them? What is the solution to a no-win scenario?
